Michael Garcia - December 4, 2012

I was kind of hoping that the Rams and 49ers would tie for the second time this season. It almost happened, but the Rams pulled it out with just 26 seconds left. The odds of the same two teams tying twice in a season must be astronomical. Colin Kaepernick suffered his first loss as the starter, opening the door for the controversy in San Francisco to continue. Kaepernick played a good game though, so maybe there isn't going to be a change. He was 21 of 32 for 208 yards and had a 50 yard run on his way to 84 rushing yards on the day.

Speaking of rushing, I just can't get over what Adrian Peterson is doing. It still hasn't been a full year since he tore both the ACL and MCL in his knee, and he's leading the league in rushing and 2,000 yards isn't out of the question. That is just mind blowing. Outside of his bizarre arrest over the summer, AP has been a model citizen and it's good to see him coming back so strong.

While Peterson amazes, his quarterback Christian Ponder disappoints. Ponder was just not very good again, completing 12 passes for 119 yards a TD and two picks. Ponder has had some atrocious games this year and it's starting to look like the Vikings need to seriously consider whether or he should be their QB beyond this season.
