Happy Guntastic Christmas from Grand Theft Auto Online!

Now, if you're going to rob a bank (which we don't condone, the cops tend to frown on that and they're angry bastards in Grand Theft Auto), at least do it with a little seasonal style. Don a Santa/snowman/reindeer mask, for instance. With the former, you could even make a shit-tastic Christmas pun to the effect of this being a ho ho hold up.

It's all about being, as the Joker once remarked, a better class of criminal.

But anywho, rejoice, because this holiday season Rockstar are giving us that very opportunity. As Kotaku reports, a series of Christmas themed gifts are doing the rounds on Grand Theft Auto Online right now. What's in Santa's bulging sack? Several bloodied pedestrians and a heaping helping of drugs? Nope, better.

Besides the new mask options described above, snow is coming to Los Santos for a limited time only. In a game that just recently played host to the speedotastic Beach Bums DLC pack, this is quite a sight. Driving was already damn hazardous enough in GTA Online, what with angry drug dealers trying to shoot your face right off, but now there's the added slide factor. Watch out for that, through January 5.

While you're homicide-ily cruising through the city in Christmas garb, like a scene from Weird Al Yankovic's piss-takey The Night Santa Went Crazy, you can also grab yourself some seasonal discounts. Plus new Snapmatic features, as detailed on Rockstar's blog.
