Haley Kalil is Back in Sports Illustrated Swim!

Gallery Icon

Echo Lawrence - March 4, 2021

Haley Kalil got her start in the modelling world by winning the first ever Sports Illustrated Swim Search along with fellow model Camille Kostek. Since winning the search and appearing in a super sexy shoot with the magazine, Haley went on to be the "rookie" for both the 2019 and 2020 editions.

She's not stopping there, the model has just announced that she will be returning for the 2021 spot and has given us a little teaser at what that will look like.

Haley is also celebrating International Women's Month by sharing a photo showing just how strong of a woman she is. Read her caption below.

"I can’t stop crying happy tears because I am so excited to be back in #SISwim2021 ...so of course, I’m joining @si_swimsuit in their #StrongLikeAWoman challenge!!

Wearing a swimsuit doesn’t strip you of all of your intellectual and academic accomplishments. I am the same person with the same mind whether I am wearing a bikini or a turtleneck.

I am STRONG because I am multifaceted.

I am STRONG because I am intelligent and knowledgeable.

I am STRONG because I am unwilling to let society’s perception of what I can and cannot do as a woman stop me from accomplishing my dreams.

I am STRONG because I embrace my body and my mind equally and unapologetically.

True strength comes when you finally decide that you refuse to dull your shine because the world can’t handle your brightness. So SHINE ON and SHINE BRIGHT. Don’t be afraid to show every facet of who you are because YOU CAN BE BOTH. Yes, you can be a doctor and still be seen wearing a bikini!! It’s crazy to think we live in a world where a female engineer, teacher, doctor, lawyer, etc has to question if it’s acceptable for her to post her bikini photo from vacation without losing respect.

EVERY woman is strong, powerful, and CAPABLE OF ANYTHING. Heck, I’m living proof. This nerd is back in @si_swimsuit for the 4th time!!"
