Good For You Robert Kraft!

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, has been through a lot. Poor guy's team lost to the New York Giants (again) in the Super Bowl; talk about embarrassing! He did lose his wife last year to cancer, and still cared enough about the NFL to make sure the collective bargaining agreement was completed so that there would be a season.

So when this video went viral of him and his gal pal, a 32-year old named Ricki Noel Lander, the world went into a mini-uproar. OMG! Is the straight laced recently widowed Kraft flirting with a young babe in a bikini? Perish the thought!

Before your minds go a little crazy, there was nothing Kim Kardashian or Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee about this video. It was just Kraft reading lines for Lander, an aspiring actress, so she could make an audition tape for a Vince Vaughn/Owen Wilson film. Yes, there was some naughty language and Lander did the tape in a bikini, but it looked like a bad car dealership commercial--nothing more.

Lander has not done much work as of yet, but will likely benefit from the exposure. Her biggest credit of her 14 movies to date is 'flight attendant' in one of the Iron Man movies.

The real controversy of course is over Kraft, who is 71, possibly getting up close and personal with a 32-year old hottie barely a year after his wife lost a long, hard battle with cancer. People will have their own opinions on whether that is okay or not, but when it comes down to it chances are Myra (his late wife) would want him to be happy.

If that means becoming a dirty old man then by golly that's exactly what he should do! Do your own thing Robert. Let the haters hate.

(The video has since been taken down, but here's a clip of the Around the Horn crew talking about it. Yes, its a slow sports day.)
