Get Over Here! And Meet Scorpion and Sub-Zero’s Personal Trainer

I like your ambition, fitness coach dude. It's probably for the best. The personal trainer of the Mortal Kombat crew, after all, would have to be someone pretty freaking special. Those guys don't eff around. They're the ultimate lean mean fightin' machines, and they don't care whose internal organs they shatter into spam.

Today, we meet the hard-ass responsible for their combat skills, in a deeply piss-takey video from the series' official community page. Beyond Kombat, quoth Destructoid, is a new series they're inflicting on us as a little slice of comedy/satire, and the first episode is The Trainer.

We're not quite talking When Wesker Met Chris levels of craptacular cheese here, but we're not far behind. I was begrudgingly amused by some parts though. The trainer moves through the gym telling an off-screen Sonya to work on her glutes, and dodges off-screen Goro's attempts to decapitate him with weights (‘...it's a standing joke we have... classic Goro'). The highlight would have to be the my-boy's-all-grown-up tear of joy as Predator busts out a claw-y fatality as the trainer looks on.

It may be little more than a fancy-ass commercial for the Predator DLC/Mortal Kombat X premium pack, but it's not a bad way to spend a couple of minutes today.
