Fiona Apple Forgot the First Rule of Being a Singer: Don’t Bring Drugs Into Texas

I guess when you're most famous for a song called 'Criminal', sooner or later you've got to back that up with an actual arrest. As TMZ reported, Fiona Apple was arrested for hashish possession when the singer's tour bus was boarded by authorities at a border stop in Texas yesterday. The singer also was found with a small amount of marijuana on her.

You'd think after years of constant touring, the svelte songstress would've picked up some rules of the road by now. Here's what she should've known: Don't only play the new stuff, pepper it in with some of your greatest hits; Always use a shittier opening act to make your own performance seem better; But most importantly, DON'T EVER DRIVE THROUGH TEXAS WITH DRUGS ON YOUR TOUR BUS.

There's one arrest after another as more and more singer's fall victim to the web of the long arm of the law in Texas, picking off poor, innocent singers who don't know how to hide their drugs better.
