It's tough enough being an NBA rookie, especially a first round pick. You have to carry the vets' bags, you have to bring donuts to practice, dudes are pulling pranks on you. Usually that doesn't start until training camp though. Boston's first round pick, Fab Melo, got an early taste of rookie life during the annual NBA rookie photoshoot the other day.

Melo is nearly 260 pounds, but a chair shouldn't just be giving out on him like that. Such is rookie life.

And if you're wondering what's up with Laker rookie Robert Sacre not having a number...here's your answer. Turns out he'd been wearing #12 during Summer league. Well, with Dwight Howard going to L.A., Sacre is not getting that number and only recently chose #6. His jersey wasn't ready in time. Rookies!
