Motherfucking Snakes on a Motherfucking Plane

Snakes on a Plane
Say what you will about Snakes on a Plane, but that was one motherfucking entertaining movie. Was it stupid? Yeah. Was it violent? Hell yeah. Was it everything you want it to be? Yeah, Motherfucker!

In a summer of blockbusters that couldn't quite live up to expectations, or failed misserably, Snakes on a Planes is a fun, funny, thriller with a ton of Motherfucking snakes. And really, what more could you really ask for? It's called Snakes on a Plane, and that's what you get. Plus Samuel L. Jackson.

It was definitely a lot more violent and gorey than I expected it to be, but that was great too. I mean, it's good to see an R-Rated movie every once in a while. And how many times do you really get to see a hot topless chick get bit on the nipple by a snake?

So get all your friends together, and go down to see Snakes on a Plane, a movie that finally, actually lives up to the hype. I can't wait for the sequel: Snakes on a Space Shuttle.

And here are the hotties from the movie at the Premiere.

Weekend Videos - Borat, Keane, Claire Danes, and More Snakes

07:28 PM, Filed under: Home \ Movies \ Snakes on a Plane

Borat MySpace Video
Okay, so a little late on the weekend videos this week, but I'm sure you'll forgive me after you watch this week's selection.

First up is everyone's favourite Kazakhstani reporter, Borat. But did you know that Borat has a MySpace page? Well he does, and here's Borat's MySpace video. Will you be his friend?

Next up is my new favourite song, from one of my favourite bands, Keane. It's called "Crystal Ball," and it's great, but you probably figured that out already, since I said it's my new favourite song. I think I listened to this song about 50 times on my flight back from Europe. Anyway, here's Keane's "Crystal Ball" music video.

And what would a Weekend Videos post be without the requisite Snakes on a Plane video? If you thought Samuel L. Jackson was a bad motherfucker, just wait till you see Claire Danes kick some snake ass. It's called "Snakes on Claire Danes," and it's pretty good.

Borat Movie Trailer and More

06:05 PM, Filed under: Home \ Movies \ Snakes on a Plane

Borat Movie Trailer
So I still feel bad about how slowly that Lindsay Lohan bikini video is loading (though it's really not so slow that it can't be enjoyed with a little patience), and while I already added a very nice (i.e. busty) video of Scarlett Johansson in her Baywatch gear, I want to give you guys more.

So, before you do anything else, make sure you take a look at the Borat Movie Trailer. It's just about the funniest thing ever, and if it's any indication, this will be the best. movie. ever. And if that wasn't enough, I can't get enough of the full title: Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.

Next up is this Transformers Movie Sneak Peek clip from Access Hollywood from the set of the Transformers movie. There are cars getting smashed, Tony Potts sounding like a dork, and Megan Fox being all pretty. Plus, if you stick around till the end of the clip, you'll see some cool, albeit brief, animatics of the Transformers in action.

And even though they're not technically videos, you've got to check out these great sites from Snakes on a Plane. First, wouldn't you love to get a phone call from Samuel L. Jackson? Well, now you can hear Sam Jackson tell your lazy ass to go see the movie. And if you think Snakes on a Plane is great, you'll love Snakes on a Babe. Yes, I said Snakes on a Babe.

Weekend Videos Are Back!

06:05 PM, Filed under: Home \ Movies \ Snakes on a Plane

weekend-videos-zidane.jpg
Yay! The Weekend Videos are back. Sorry for the absence over the past two weeks, but I was lazy, and otherwise preoccupied. But now they're back, so rejoice! And whatever you do, don't miss the last video of the bunch. It's the best.

So, what better way to begin, than with everybody's favourite headbutting Frenchman, Zinedine Zidane. Now, you've probably seen that Zidane headbutt video from the World Cup final about a million times already, but have you seen every different versions of it? Well, now they're all in one place (with a pretty catchy tune) in this Zidane Headbutt Compilation Video.

Wouldn't you know it, the buzz for Snakes on a Plane keeps growing. So much so that even CNN is taking notice. Now I don't know if that makes the movie more or less exciting, but I just love being able to say: Snakes on a Plane on CNN.

However, I think the hype is getting a little out of hand, maybe. I'm really not sure whether this video makes Snakes cooler, but who cares. It's the Music Video for Cobra Starship's "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)", the title track from the soundtrack to the movie. Best part: hearing Samuel L. Jackson saying "I'm sick of these motherfuckin' snakes, on this motherfuckin' plane."

Of course, you have to wonder how the hell a movie like Snakes on a Plane, actually gets a "green light." Strangely enough, it actually started off as the The Anne Frank Story. Don't ask. Just watch Snakes on a Plane: How Hollywood Really Works.

And if you're familiar with "All Your Base Are Belong to Us," then you'll probably get a kick out of "All Your Snakes Are Belong to Us." Just don't ask me what the hell it means.

Moving along, the box office let down of Superman Returns was quite surprising, as was the success of Pirates of the Caribbean. Just don't ask the stars of Superman what they think about it all. Really, Don't ask about the Pirates.

So, do you find those "I'm a Mac" ads annoying? Well, you're not the only one. Check out these Apple Mac parody ads, and you'll feel better. Stupid Macs.

You'd think that having Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman, Scarlett Johansson, and Michael Caine in a new movie from Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan would probably be some super-awesome Batman/Wolverine flick, but sadly, you'd be wrong. It's actually a movie about magicians called The Prestige, and here is The Prestige Trailer.

Another movie about magicians set in the late 1800s, with a really good cast, and a really hot leading lady is The Illusionist. This movie stars Ed Norton, Jessica Biel, and Paul Giamatti, and revolves around an illicit affair between a magician, and an Austrian noble woman. But it looks good, really. Here's The Illusionist trailer.

And in what is by far the best video of the week, some mad genius has taken all the scenes with Darth Vader from the original Star Wars, and replaced Vader's lines with dialogue every other James Earl Jones movie. It's just about the craziest thing I've ever seen, and one of the funniest. Whatever you do, don't miss The Vader Sessions.

Weekend Videos - 2006 MTV Movie Awards

07:50 PM, Filed under: Home \ Movies \ Snakes on a Plane

Gnarls Barkley at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards
So, even though there were ads on my blog for the past two weeks, and I've been posting about it, I completely forgot that the MTV Movie Awards were on last night. How's that for an attention span!?

Anyway, I'm not too worried about it, because they're going to replay the show every hour, and I also don't care. However, there were some good moments during the show last night, and thanks to YouTube, I can post them all right here on my site. Yay!

First let's start with the best part of the show, which was the Superman Returns "Plane Rescue" clip. This scene from the film featuring Superman flying in to save a burning jet with Lois Lane on board. Very cool stuff.

After they aired that clip, they interviewed Brandon Routh and asked what it was like to play Superman, and wear the costume. He really evokes the feeling of Christopher Reeve in this interview, which is getting me a lot more excited to see the movie.

Continuing the Superhero vibe, was the award for best hero, which went to Christian Bale for Batman Begins. His Christian Bale's Acceptance Speech was pretty funny, especially when he said that Batman is the "badass Superhero," not Superman.

Of course, if you're looking for funny acceptance speeches, Steve Carrell's speech was definitely one of the best.

But no one could top Samuel L. Jackson who vowed that next year Snakes on a Plane would win best movie.

Lastly, the best musical act, by far, Gnarls Barkley performing "Crazy." Not only is the song great, but the band came out dressed in full Star Wars costumes, with Darth Vader singing, Stormtroopers on guitar and bass, Jango Fett on keys, and, of course, Chewbacca on the drums!

Weekend Videos - Christopher Walken Edition

05:48 PM, Filed under: Home \ Movies \ Snakes on a Plane

Kevin Spacey as Christopher Walken
So, I'm not exactly sure why, but this weeks Weekend Video post has turned into a Christopher Walken tribute of sorts. It's mostly impressions of the man, but that's what makes him a legend. But really, it's not Christopher Walken that we love, it's the Christopher Walken in our minds that's funny.

But first, a couple of Movie Trailer Remixes to get us started...

School of Rock was an instant classic comedy, but what if it was really a creepy thriller, with Jack Black as a pedophile school teacher? Well, it's still funny, actually. Check out School of Rock Remixed

On the flip side, The Shining was a creepy movie (though I still haven't actually seen it). But what if it was directed by Cameron Crowe of Almost Famous fame? Find out in the trailer for Shining.

You probably remember this classic Saturday Night Live skit with Kevin Spacey playing Christopher Walken playing Han Solo, but if you've never seen it, you definitely have to. And if you have seen, it well, watch it again. Star Wars Auditions

And while we're on the subject of celebrity movie audition impersonation videos (yes, it's a specific topic) you've got to watch this guy doing impersonations of Christopher Walken, Jack Nicholson, Joe Pesci, and Robert DeNero in Snakes on a Plane Auditions

Okay, I really don't know what this is, but if you've ever wanted to see Kermit the Frog with the voice of Christopher Walken, well, today is you're lucky day, but may I just say, you're tastes are vey specific. Here is Kermit Walken

And finally, here some guy doing his impression of Christopher Walken talking about shampoo. Random Christopher Walken Impression
