Musical theater makes me nervous. I don't like when people burst into song. If they did that in real life, they'd probably get their asses beat. Not that I've never walked the boulevard for rent money, mind you, but I've never felt like singing about it. Meanwhile, Vanessa Hudgens managed to make unkempt hookers look pretty damn hot in Rent at the Hollywood Bowl this weekend. I'm not saying that an STD-laden hooker is my fantasy vision of the former good-girl hottie, but I'm also not saying it's not. Enjoy.
