Natalie Portman to the Rescue

Natalie Portman isn't just a super hottie, she's a super hero. Okay, so she may not have the super powers, but when puppies are in danger, she comes to the rescue. According to fansite NataliePortman.com, the star put her life on the line to save a co-star's pet.

Actress Natalie Portman is pictured here saving actor and co-star Jason Bateman's pet Boston Terrier from being hit by a pick-up truck. Portman was on the way from her trailer to the set of Mr. Majorium's Magical Emporium, which she is currently filming in Toronto with Bateman, when Bateman's dog got loose from an assistant who was walking it. Portman quickly runs to stop an approaching pick-up, whilst another assistant successfully grabs the pet dog.

Okay, so she wasn't exactly in mortal danger, but you never know with those crazy pick-up truck drivers. Of course, I don't think it's really a stretch for Natalie Portman to stop traffic, but at least she's helping the helpless. Though, "Natalie Portman: Dog Murderer" would have been a fun post too...
