Natalie Portman: Dancing Queen

Well, Natalie Portman definitely had a lot to celebrate this weekend, as V for Vendetta opened at #1 with over $26 million. While not what the studio was hoping for, it still beat out the next highest movie by $10 million.

Natalie may have taken her partying a little too far, as Page Six reports she nearly passed out after dancing to hard at a Ney York club.

Natalie Portman is a dancing queen. Last weekend, she hit Aer Lounge at midnight with a group of six friends and proceeded to dance like "a madwoman" on top of a banquette for hours until she almost passed out. Her pals promptly fanned and spritzed the movie princess with ice water to rouse her - and it worked. At 4 a.m., the "V for Vendetta" hottie was spotted at Soho 323 in a frantic "dance-off" with a tattooed member of party promoter David Rodolitz's posse, who hosted the after-hours revelry.

I just hope this was a one time thing resulting from some much-earned celebrations. I'd hate to see Natalie Portman in a Lindsay Lohan style "exhaustion" episode. That would not be so good.
