It's been a while since the last Mega Picture Post here on Egotastic!, but last night's Fashion Institute Gala in New York definitely qualifies for this special treatment.

There are about a Bazillion pictures after the jump (actually it's more like 187 pictures or something), so you'll want to check them all out. 79th Annual Academy Awards Mega Picture Post - Part 2

Some of the highlights of the Oscars this year included Al Gore being "cut off" during his "announcement," Steven Spielberg and Francis Ford Copolla making fun of George Lucas, and Martin Scorcese finally winning an Oscar, if for no other reason than maybe his next movie won't have to be nominated.

But what made the show so good this time around was really that there were lots of moments throughout the show that kept it moving, and kept it fun. I won't go into the rest of it, though, because you're just here for all the beautiful women who came out for the big night.

Just a few of the names that fall in K-Z category are Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts (looking rather pregnant), Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Reese Witherspoon, and Japanese cutie, Rinko Kikuchi.

Here's Part 2 of this year's Golden Globes Mega Picture Post. It's pretty much a lot more of the same stuff, but specifically K - Z. Lots of pretty ladies in expensive dresses. What can you really say?

Well, you can say that Salma Hayek's cleavage is pretty fantastic, and that it looks like Reese Witherspoon hasn't eaten since she filed for divorce from Ryan Phillippe.

Naomi Watts to Raise AIDS Awareness

Well, you can now add another celebrity to the list of stars doing not really that much to help the world. Naomi Watts has been named as a special United Nations envoy on HIV/AIDS, according to Yahoo! News, and has recently joined a UNAIDS mission to Zambia where she visited clinics, hospitals, schools and shelters.

UNAIDS said that in the role, Watts would "use her talent and profile to raise AIDS awareness and give greater voice to the needs of people living with HIV worldwide."

Watts said she was "humbled and inspired" by those she met.

"I only hope that, as a UNAIDS Special Representative, I can do my small part to raise AIDS awareness and to encourage greater international support for the vital work being done on the ground," she said in a statement.

Now, don't get me wrong, I think it's good that celebrities try to do their best, but this is really just a way for the UN to show that it's trying to raise awareness for AIDS, rather than actually raising awareness. Though I guess it does raise awareness indirectly. Ultimitely, it's a PR stunt, but I guess, as PR stunts go, it's as noble as they get.

Of course, if Naomi Watts really wants to raise awareness for AIDS, I think wearing see-through shirts like this one could be a good starting point. Because as everyone knows, nipples are a great way of getting attention. She may not raise awareness, but she'll definitely raise something.

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber Dunzo?

Looks like the happy couple of Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber may not be so happy anymore. According to The New York Daily News' Rush and Molloy, the two have been going their separate ways.

"He's been telling people he's having 'girlfriend trouble,'" a source tells us. "She's been telling people to keep an eye out for new boyfriends."

But lately, Watts is said to have confided that she's finding him a tad too controlling.

Even though "King Kong" put her on Hollywood's A-list, "He wants her to stop working entirely and have a baby," claims a source. "He wants to review all her script offers. He even likes her to look a certain way."

Obviously, their publicists are denying any split. So who should we believe? An unnamed source, or a payed lacky? Conundrum! One thing I do know for sure is that Naomi Watts looks amazing for a woman of almost 40-years-old. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. Hottie!

Vanity Fair Oscar Party Mega Picture Post

While everybody else is going crazy over the act that Brokeback Mountain lost the Best Picture award, I really couldn't care less. I think it's amazing how Hollywood has convinced us that these awards shows matter in way at all, but they have, so you have to at least give them credit for that.

No, I think award shows are ridiculous, and they invariably suck. Thankfully, award shows also mean parties, and parties mean more pictures of hot celebrities in sexy dresses. It's crazy how these actresses manage to change from one dress to another so quickly. It's almost like Clark Kent ripping off one evening gown, to reveal Superman dressed in another gown underneath. How's that for Brokeback!?

78th Annual Academy Awards Mega Picture Post

Well, the 78th Annual Academy Awards, better known as the Oscars are only an hour and a half old, but Egotastic! already has all your Oscar pictures from the red carpet runway.

I'm not live-blogging this thing, simply because when I tried to last time at the Golden Globes, I nearly died of "exhaustion." At any rate, it's not terrible so far, John Stewart is pretty good, and the speeches have been short. Then again, I've been getting all your Oscar pictures ready, so I've had other things to occupy my attention. Naomi Watts Bikini Pictures

Um, yeah... You're probably noticing a pattern today. As if the Lindsay Lohan and Kirsten Dunst bikini posts weren't enough, Naomi Watts was bikini-ing it up at Bondi beach in Sydney, Australia yesterday. I think she's a little self-conscious about something, though, since she's covering up quite a bit with those ridiculous swimming shorts. All I know is, these bikini posts are making me really annoyed that it's so ridiculously cold outside my appartment right now. Granted, if it was warm, I would probably still be in front of this computer screen...

Update: Observant reader, Milli, points out that these pictures are actually from last year. But, that doesn't really bother me so much.

Naomi Watts: Engaged? Pregnant? Bond Girl?

Where to begin with all the Naomi Watts rumours?

First, there are the engagement rumours. Hollywood.com reports that Watts and boyfriend, Liev Shreiber, are more than ready to take the next step in their relationship, and have already gotten engaged. The couple are trying to maintain their privacy, but with Naomi's new-found stardom, that's not so easy anymore.

A source says, "Naomi not only said yes, but she wants to get married as soon, and as secretly, as possible.

"Liev doesn't want to waste any time. He is absolutely thrilled Naomi is going to marry him. He says it's something he's been wishing for almost since their first date. And he's already told her that he wants to have lots of babies. Right away!"

Second, the Sydney Morning Herald is speculating that Watts is pregnant, after she was spotted visiting a Chinese herbalist and acupuncture specialist, Lily Liu, who is also famous around Sydney as being a specialist in fertility.

And last, but certainly not least (like the cliche?), Naomi Watts is the latest in a long line of starlets being sought out to for the role of the latest Bond Girl, according to The Sun. Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, and Scarlett Johansson have already turned down the role. Of course, there are still rumours that Jessica Simpson may be the next Bond Girl.

Naomi, 37, has already had a phone call from Bond team Eon Productions inviting her to be Russian vixen Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale. They want her to do a screen test in the New Year.

Damn, looks like Naomi's got a lot going on. If she wants her career to stay on track, though, she should stay as far away as possible from anything that has to do with James Bond.

Naomi Watts Pictures from King Kong

Peter Jackson's King Kong comes out next Wednesday, December 14, 2005, and I'm pretty jazzed. I've heard some good things, and some bad things, but it's really the 2h 45m running time that I fear the most. A movie that long has got to deliver, and better not have seven endings like Return of the King did. But yeah, it's Peter Jackson, it's King Kong, and it's Naomi Watts.

I've been a fan of Naomi Watts for a while now, and I think she is a really talented actress. And even though Naomi Watts can look like a mop, she has her moments too. In fact, she looks great most of the time, and this promo photoshoot for King Kong is no exception.
