They say "diamonds are a girl's best friend," but I never really understood women's obsession with jewelry until now. After seeing Maria Menounos' cleavage adorned with those shining diamonds, I can see what the big deal is. Though, I must say, the cleavage makes the diamonds look a lot better than the other way around. At least now you don't have to make up an excuse for stearing at Maria's boobs. Just tell her that her "diamonds" are beautiful.

Okay, so, I'm officially in love with Blake Lively. Actually, I'm in love with Blake Lively bikini pictures, since her acting does kind of annoy me. But I'd gladly sit through all her mopey scenes (which I already do anyway) if it means getting to see more of her in a bikini. And add to that the fact that we also get some hot Maria Menounos bikini action here, and what more could you ask for? Well, you could ask to Maria Menounos or Blake Livley naked, but then you'd just be greedy.

In case you're wondering, these hot pictures were taken back in October, at the opening of the Mediterranean Village at Sandals Grande Antigua Resort. Better late than never, right?

59th Annual Emmy Awards Mega Picture Post

Another year, another Emmy Awards ceremony, and another boring night spent in front of the TV. I really wish they'd outlaw award shows, instead of using the annual circle-jerk as a pathetic excuse to promote the new shows of the fall season.

At least there is the benefit of seeing all the most beautiful actresses getting dolled up for the night, even if they're mostly nipped, tucked, botoxed and fried to within an inch of actually being considered human.

Not too many standouts this year, aside from maybe the girls from Heroes. Ali Larter and Kristen Bell were stunning as always, but what the hell Hayden Panettiere thought she was doing in that taupe tent of a dress she was wearing is beyond me. On the flip side, Eva Longoria's ass was looking particularly booty-licious.

So, first of all, let me apologize for today's previous posts which feature Tyra Banks grabbing Rosie O'Donnell's breasts, and Britney Spears' saggy breasts going in all kinds of crazy directions. I like to keep things pretty, here on Egotastic!, but sometimes you have to deal with the ugly side of life.

You know, I've got to admit, shows like Access Hollywood aren't completely useless. Even though all they do is pander to celebrities and suck up like crazy, they do at least get good access (no pun intended), which I can definitely say I don't have here in my tiny apartment.

A perfect example of said "access" is this clip from the show at the Golden Globes. As Jessica Biel enters for her interview on the red carpet, she gives Maria Menounos a serious pat on the ass, saying "the tush on that one is out of this world."

Yeah. That's hot.

It's good to know that two of the best butts in Hollywood have the hots for each other. It's definitely a great way to start off the weekend.

Nancy O'Dell Doesn't Like Maria Menounos, But I Do

Uh oh, there's trouble a brewin' on the set of Access Hollywood. Looks like Nancy O'Dell really doesn't like Maria Menounos anymore. According to Star Magazine, the co-hosts have been fighting non-stop, and won't even stay in the same room together.

"It's a real catfight," the source titters. "They refuse to work together and hate being in the same room with each other. Makeup and hair staffers have to schedule the times far apart!"

The feud began when Nancy, 40, griped to the show's brass that "Maria isn't interested in being a journalist. She just wants to be a star," the source says. Nancy further complained that Maria, 28, a former actress, received special treatment, got more air time and was given extra days off to pursue working in films.

Not one to keep quiet, Maria counters that Nancy is simply jealous because Maria's "younger and prettier," the source says. Meow!

Um, I just have one question: Since when is reporting the latest Hollywood gossip considered journalism? I don't consider what I do to be journalism, and I don't think Nancy O'Dell should either, because if I can do this job, how hard can it really be?

2006 MTV Video Music Awards Mega Picture Post

Um, so that sucked monkey balls. Seriously, since when are the Emmy Awards more entertaining (and nipple slippy) than the MTV Music Video Awards. It was painful watching that show. From Jack Black's incredibly lame jokes, to the horendous performances that had me hitting the mute button every five minutes, and the absolutely retarded Britney Spears/Kevin Federline thing, watching this show felt like torture.

There were a few highlights, like OK GO doing a live version of their treadmill dance, Abigail Breslin, the little girl from Little Miss Sunshine (one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time), Sarah Silverman's dig at Paris Hilton (which could have been better), Al Gore bringing the environment back (like Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back), and, um... That's it, actually. This show really sucked. But that live treadmill dance was really cool.

The thing that makes me the most depressed, though, is the total lack of any good music represented at this "award show." I know I'm starting to sound like an old fogey (I even use the term "old fogey"), but I seem to remember music being better than this. Hell, music is better than this. There are a lot of much better bands that should be getting awards, but they're not. And it's ridiculous.

And if I have to hear one more celebrity thank God and MTV, I'm going to shoot someone.
