Lindsay Lohan Got Arrested

Well, it finally happened, Lindsay Lohan was arrested today on suspicion of drunk driving. The weird part, though, was that she turned herself in. Personally, I would have preferred to see a high speed chase with Lindsay Lohan coked out of her mind, behind the wheel, throwing her underwear out the window in a desperate attempt to evade the law. TMZ reports it a bit differently.

In one of the most under the radar moves she's ever made, Lindsay Lohan quietly walked into the Beverly Hills PD station late Thursday afternoon to be officially arrested for her May DUI.

According to the official Los Angeles Sheriff's Department website, Lohan was held in custody for about an hour around 4:00 PM, until she was released on her own recognizance -- routine for a first time DUI offender. Police sources tell TMZ that Lohan was "very pleasant and cooperative."

Lohan was charged with driving with a blood alcohol level greater than .08 and misdemeanor hit and run, this according to the Beverly Hills PD.

Boring. I want action! I want adventure! I want to see Lindsay Lohan's car erupt into a mushroom-cloud of fire and smoke, as she careens off Mulholland into the houses below. Walking into the police station, not even in cuffs? She's just not trying anymore.
