Oh what a difference a day makes. These pictures, featuring a visibly drunk Jake Gyllenhaal were taken the night before the Oscars, when Brokeback Mountain was a shoe-in to take Best Picture. Of course, we all know now that the dreams of gay cowboys around the world were crushed by Crash, and Brokeback was denied the prize.
I wouldn't be surprised if Jake was equally lubed post-Oscars as well, but I'm sure it was for a different reason. Ang Lee might want to keep a closer eye on the champaigne bottle next time...
