So here's the story, Erica Durance, who is probably the best, and hottest Lois Lane ever, was on The Howard Stern show on Monday to promote her new movie, The Butterfly Effect 2. Normally, this wouldn't exactly grab my attention. Especially since I don't actually listen to The Howard Stern Show.

Of course, after I heard that Erica left the show in tears after being hammered with questions about having parties where she and her guests are nude, well, let's just say my interest was piqued.

Yes, that's right, pretty much the whole interview was focussed on Erica Durance, and her nude parties. How many guests go naked, is Erica naked, is her husband naked, the whole time, just naked, naked, naked. Obviously, this started to make Erica fairly uncomfortable. Plus, having to respond to Howard Stern's repeated statements that he would never feel comfortable at such a party because he has a small penis would make anyone uncomfortable, I'm sure.

So anyway, after being verbally assaulted for about half an hour, apparently, Erica was so shaken up at the end of the interview that even though she ended it politely, by the time she hit the front door, she was crying hysterically.

I Can't Wait for The CW

Man, oh man, am I excited for the debut of the new CW Network. They've taken pretty much all the best shows from The WB and UPN, and created one almost-super-network. But what's even better, is that pretty much all the shows have some of the hottest girls on TV right now.

There's Erica Durance on Smallville, Kristen Bell on Veronica Mars, Hilarie Burton on One Tree Hill Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham on The Gilmore Girls, and even Beverly Mitchell on 7th Heaven (though she doesn't really count from the neck up).

Sophia Bush, Kristen Kreuk, Allison Mack, and a whole bunch of other hotties can also be found on The CW, but they can't be found in this post, because they didn't show up at this event to have their pictures taken.

While not all of my favourite shows have made the jump to The CW, the new pairing of The WB and UPN, I'm happy enough with those that have. And why is that? Because pretty much all the hotties I love are staying.

Alexis Bledel and Kristen Bell will be heating up Tuesday nights with The Gilmore Girls followed by Veronica Mars. Wednesday nights have Tyra Banks and the girls from America's Next Top Model followed by One Tree Hill with Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, and Bethany Joy Galeotti (formerly Lenz). Thursdays is staying the same as it was on The WB with Kristen Kreuk, Alison Mack and Erica Durance on Smallville, followed by Supernatural, but I don't watch that show because there are no hot girls on that one.

Sadly, Everwood got cut at the last minute to make room for 7th Heaven to return with Beverly Mitchell, so we'll be saying goodbye to Emily Van Camp and Sarah Drew since they didn't have a chance to go out for pilot season. Charmed also ended this year, so no more Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan, or Holly Marie Combs.

Now if only we can get The CW in High Definition in Canada...

Erica Durance Is Also Very Sexy

So here's something I don't quite understand. If Scarlett Johansson was voted the Sexiest Woman in FHM's top 100 issue, then why is Erica Durance on the cover? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but wouldn't it make more sense to have Scarlett Johansson on the cover?

I'm not complaining, it just seems a bit odd, no? Maybe they couldn't quite afford Scarlett's price tag. After all, FHM is no Vanity Fair. OF course, don't let that stop you from picking up the new issue tomorrow.

How awesome is Smallville this year!? Not only is Erica Durance taking her clothes off every other week, but the story lines have been really good. I do think, however, that the pop culture references are being a little over used. Last week they had Carrie Fisher and James Marsters guest starring so they obviously had to do a bunch of Star Wars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer references. Those were alright, "Project 1138" was a nice touch and so were the "Buffy Sanders" and "slaying Buffy the Vampire" bits. Plus Clark's whole first-time cape-wearing experience was funny. But this week's inclusion of Tom Wopat from Dukes of Hazzard, and all the dumb car gags that came with him were definitely on the "too much" side of things. If they cut out the over-the-top stuff, and stick with the fun Superman in-jokes, this season will probably be the best yet. And, oh yeah, we need to see way more of Erica Durance doing the whole minimal clothes thing.

Erica Durance: Your Reason to Watch Smallville

If you missed this week's episode of Smallville, you missed a good one, and not just because it had Erica Durance in a bikini half the time. But mainly because it had Erica Durance in a bikini half the time. Seriously though, this episode rocked the house in the following ways:

• Clark Kent finally sticking it to Lex Luthor.


• The introduction of Aquaman, who while not played by the best of actors, was a cool character nonetheless.


• A wicked underwater fight between Clark and A.C. aka Aquaman.
  
• Aquaman calling Clark "Superboy."


• The first real appearance of James Marsters (Spike from Buffy & Angel) as Clark's new history professor-slash-mysterious-soon-to-be-bad-guy.


• The start of Lois Lane's superhero fetish - which was actually handled in a really cool way to explain why she will eventually fall for Superman - but really, who wouldn't?


• Aquaman invites Clark to join the Junior Lifeguards Association, to which Clark replies "I'm not quite ready to join the JLA."

So, I've got to say, this season of Smallville is off to a great start. Clark is finally kicking Lex Luthor's ass, and nailing Lana Lang, plus we've got the awesome Fortress of Solitude straight out of the Reeve films. Also, Erica Durance, who plays Lois Lane has been added to the regular cast of the series, which means we'll be seeing a lot more of her this season. And while Trent is excited about Auquaman's appearance in an upcoming episode, I'm excited for a whole different reason (but seeing Auquaman will be cool too).

Superman. Yes, Again.

It's time for Superman news. So hold tight. Oh, and there's some Batman bits in there too.

First comes news that there is actually a second version, an international director's cut, of Superman II.

Here's the deal. Richard Donner shot both Superman and Superman II at the same time, but after Superman hit theatres, he was replaced for the sequel, which was directed by Richard Lester, to some less-than-stellar reviews (but I liked it). Then, Warner Bros. released a longer cut for the international market that reincorporated scenes Donner had shot, but were never used. Fast forward some twenty-five years, and some unnamed internet Superman fans have pieced together said long-lost international version of Superman II. It was even posted online at a Superman fan site, but has been removed at the request of Wraner Bros.

Second, the season finale of Smallville, which airs May 18, will feature an 8 minute teaser of the new Batman Begins. Awesome!
