Dana Reeve, the widow of Christopher Reeve, has died of lung cancer at the age of 44. Dana Reeve is best remembered for her caretaking of her "Superman" husband after his accident which led to paralysis, but she was also a talented actress, singer, and in her later life, activist for both paralysis, and later lung cancer. Reeve was a non-smoker, and was diagnosed with lung cancer only a short time after the death of Christopher Reeve. She leaves behind a a 13-year-old son, Will, who the family have said will be well cared for. Her spirit will be missed.
