In not so surprising news, yet another highly anticipated album has it the file-sharing networks before it's official release. This time, the album in question is Coldplay's "X & Y," which is scheduled for release June 6th.

In what may just be the most egocentric (and definitely not Egotastic!) marriage of all time, Paris Hilton is set to marry boyfriend, and Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis. How fucked up is that!? Paris and Paris. Come on.
Personally, I hope they both remain heirs forever, and never actually cash in on their family fortunes, cause why should they. I think they'd crumble under the responsibility. Ponder this: In the unlikely event that she takes his last name, the couple will literally be Mr. and Mrs. Paris Latsis. (via Yahoo! News)

DVDs are fun, because when there's nothing on TV, you can still watch something. This week's releases feature some classic Marlon Brando, James Dean, and Steve McQueen collections, plus a special edition DVD of McQueen's Bullit. Best of all, though, is a collector's edition release of American Graffiti. The disc has some nice extras, but most importantly, showcases the directing talents of George Lucas in the film that eventually made Star Wars possible.

As a celebrity, Natalie Portman must deal with Paraparazzi photographers damn near everywhere she goes, so you'd think she'd be used to it by now. Well she isn't, so stop it! But don't really, cuz pictures like these are fun.

A new trailer for Charlie and the Chocolate factory is up at Moviefone. I think this looks like the movie that might finally redeem Tim Burton's career, and Johnny Depp is perfect.
Also, doesn't Charlie's grandfather (or is it uncle?) look like Gerry from the Pixar short?
Lindsay Lohan used to be hot. In fact, she used to be just about the hottest girl in Hollywood. It was pretty clear that you graph the rise of her career solely relative to the size of her breasts. It's sad to say, but I think the reverse will be true as well. If you don't believe me, jsut take a look at these Lindsay Lohan bikini pictures.
Wow! Her new show hasn't even gone into production, and Shannen Doherty has already gotten herself fired. Way to go! Now that's how you build a career in hollywood. Next stop: "The Surreal Life."
I think the only reason she was hired was based on these photos from People magazine, but what do I know. Everything, that's what!

I don't talk about Britney Spears on this blog unless I can make fun of her. Well now's that time. It looks like Britney Spears' new "reality" show "Britney and Kevin: Chaotic" is on the brink of cancellation, beacuse people don't like watching the non-adventures of white trash super-stars. That's right, if you're going to be white-trash, do it right by going on Cops or America's Most Wanted. Celebrities are supposed to be at least a little glamourous, and if they're not, we only want to see it on E! True Hollywood Story, as a less-than-inspirational almost comeback story.

The release of Episode III was to mark the end of the Star Wars saga on the big screen. But some people are intent on stoking the rumors that there will be more Star Wars adventures to be had in the movie theatres.
They aren't talking about the sequel trilogy, though. Rumors are now circulating that a new Star Wars movie will be set some 88 years before the events of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and will focus on Yoda leading the Jedi to a victory over the Sith, and restoring peace to the Galactic Republic.
Lucas has said repeatedly that he will not make another Star Wars movie, but that doesn't rule out someone else making one. Remeber, he did not direct either The Empire Strikes Back, or Return of the Jedi, and with the creation of the new TV series, the Star Wars dynasty certainly won't be over soon. My one issue with this rumour is that it doesn't seem to fit with established Star Wars lore. The Republic was to have experienced more than 1000 years of peace prior to episode I, not merely one hundred. Also, the only source of the info is a "movie insider." Call this one sketchy at best. UPDATE: I was right! Well, at least in terms of my extremely nerdy knowledge of the Star Wars universe. People never check their facts. Here's the quote from the source (the good stuff is in bold at the bottom):
Another scooper, MK, wrote in with his story of meeting none other than George Lucas, while in Hawaii on his (MK’s) honeymoon. MK had this to say about his chance encounter with the Master:
I was vacationing at the Mandarin Oriental in Hawaii for my honeymoon in 2004. I ran into George Lucas and his family on the beach there. I was sitting in a hammock, just about to get up, and he asked me if I was done. I said yes and began to leave....
He said so "Where are you from" ... I said I was from NY. He said "Are you here for the shoot?" I said no, “Here on my honeymoon.”
I told him I was a big STAR WARS fan and was anxiously awaiting the conclusion of the most recent trilogy.
I asked him if STAR WARS was going to end with this next installment and.

I said what do you think would be more interesting.... telling a story prior to PHANTOM MENANCE or after RETURN OF THE JEDI?
(Lucas) said, no question about it, prior to PHANTOM MENACE. He said, that if he did ever do another storyline.... that he would do when the Jedi regained control of the universe from the Dark Lords (there were many of them) 800 years before PHANTOM MENACE. And a young Jedi named Yoda was instrumental in the effort.
None of these stories are (or can truly be) confirmed at this moment, so only time will tell.
Please note, this is all unconfirmed, and even if it was confirmed, it's all a "what if" story anyway.
BlueTights.net has posted another video blog from the set of Superman Returns. This one features Bryan Singer and his pimped-out trailer van, as well as a look at the rocket ship crash site, and Ma Kent driving up to the scene.
What's really cool is that it looks like they are using the same red truck from the original Superman movie (note: they also use a red truck in the Smallville series too, so that's even cooler). What seems a bit strange is that Pa Kent doesn't seem to be in the scene. Strange.
Also, here's video #12. I didn't forget about it, it's just not that good.
