The End is Near for The Avengers in New ‘Infinity War’ TV Spot (VIDEO)

It looks like Marvel's getting in on the "breathy female remake" act by having a woman with poor breath control singing Alan Silvestri's Avengers theme in this new TV spot. Man, I just love that trend. I hope they do a breathy version of Tenacious D's "Kielbasa" for the next trailer, that'd be a hoot.

I can't help but think that Avengers: Infinity War is going to be the pinnacle of destruction porn. There's that rumor that's been flying around for a while that Thanos destroys a moon and hurls pieces of it at the good guys at some point in this flick. That's a good indication that there's going to be tons of masturbatory cgi havoc being wreaked throughout this film.

So long as the story is good, I won't care though. None of us will. If the story fails, however, we've got another Batman v Superman on our hands where all the cgi destruction in the world can't balance out the terribleness on display. I imagine the last hour of Infinity War is gonna be the cgi artists just dumping all of their tools out of their toolbag and presenting us with a tornado of destruction.

We're finally in the home stretch, as Avengers: Infinity War opens three weeks from Thursday night.
