New ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ Featurette Puts the Spotlight on Emma Stone (VIDEO)

It's been five years since Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy drew to a close. Hollywood has resurrected the popular superhero franchise once more, this time with Andrew Garfield headlining as the agile, webbed hero in The Amazing Spider-Man.

Instead of the being paired up with Mary Jane, Peter Parker managed to get himself an even hotter girlfriend this time around in the form of Gwen Stacy, who's played by the gorgeous Emma Stone. It's easy to play her part, considering she's also Garfield's off-screen girlfriend (that lucky bastard!)

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy. He begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him to Oscorp and Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner.

The Amazing Spider-Man will be hitting 2D, 3D, and IMAX theaters on July 3rd and stars Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field along with Garfield and Stone.
