Usually when stars speak out about the horrors of Photoshop we simply tell them to channel their anger towards God for making them so ugly in the first place, but in the case of Elizabeth Olsen's new cover for Empire Magazine, I'm gonna have to side with Olsen. It's like they had a picture of Scarlett Johansson all set to go and then three seconds before the deadline realized they needed to make it look like a mid-tier celebrity that no one knows about. While Hollywood is still competitive, it's a fact that any random person in the entire world can get a part as one of the billion characters in a superhero movie, and since Olsen is a random person, she fits right into the upcoming Avengers Infinity War as Scarlet Witch. After seeing a notably different looking version of herself in the issue of Empire pimping Avengers, Olsen stated on Instagram:

April 27th... Does this look like me? #scarletwitch #infinitywar #avengers

She gets major props for not making the incident about Time's Up and marginalization and body positivity and menstrual cramps and lip gloss, and in fact it kind of seems like she's joking about how ridiculous her picture looks. News outlets are saying that she's slamming the h8ers, but honestly I think she's just happy to be invited to the party. In July of last year Olsen won us over by saying that the only reason she joined social media was for a new revenue stream, and now she's winning us over all over again. I would say that Olsen is one of my favorite celebrities, but for that to happen she'd have to be famous. Keep on keeping on random girl.
