It's not your imagination. Those strange noises when it's dark out? Things that go bump in the night when everyone (but you) is asleep? A common theory people have about ghosts is that they stuck around the middle dimension because they have some unfinished business. They could've been murdered, swindled out of a lot of money, or are just plain unhappy about how things ended for them here on earth.

But did they meet their end at your house, of all places? There's only one way to find out: Died In House.

Plain and simple, it's a site that'll let you know if someone died at your house. All you have to do is key in your address, and the site will do the rest. It's not a free service though, because every search will cost you $11.99.

The site's disclaimer explains that Died in House 'does not guarantee to have all deaths that have occurred in or at a specific address' and that results do not indicate the 'presence of any ghost, haunting, or any other paranormal activity.'
