Designer Usama Ishtay Isn’t a Pootie Tang Quote, But Hot Women Wear His Clothes

When I saw the name Usama Ishtay, I thought for sure that was a reference to one of the greatest comedies of the new millennium, Pootie Tang. That crazy Pootie Tang says all kinds of shit like "Sa da tay" and "Cole me down on the panny sty," so why wouldn't Usama Ishtay be another Pootie Tang quote? As it turns out, however, that Usama Ishtay is not, in fact, a Pootie Tang quote, but rather an accomplished fashion designer who gets lots of sexy skinny women to wear his clothes on the runway at LA Fashion Week.

Yes, you read that right. It's apparently LA Fashion Week. If I've learned one thing from doing this job, it's that every god damned week is fashion week somewhere in the world. It's non-fucking-stop with Fashion Week. One could have an erotic journey from Milan to Minsk and likely hit a new fashion week every seven days. It's rampant, particularly in Europe, but us Americans are not without a glut of fashion weeks ourselves.

It's a scourge upon the land and makes none of the fashion weeks special. They can't be special when there's another one every single week. It's like having a birthday every week, it gets old after a while.
