‘Dark Crystal’ Prequel Cast of Characters Revealed Via New Pics

One of the more exciting projects announced by Netflix in the last few years was a prequel series to Jim Henson's dark 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal. Though there has been precious little information about the project prior to this week, Netflix released some interesting casting information and a first look at three of the show's main Gelfling characters.

Above you'll see Brea, voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch), while below are Deet voiced by Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) and Rian voiced by Taron Egerton (Kingsman)...

The world of Thra is dying. The Crystal of Truth is at the heart of Thra, a source of untold power. But it is damaged, corrupted by the evil Skeksis, and a sickness spreads across the land. When three Gelfling uncover the horrific truth behind the power of the Skeksis, an adventure unfolds as the fires of rebellion are lit and an epic battle for the planet begins.
