Polka dots seem like such an underutilized design, and I do not understand why. Stripes often dominate clothing, both horizontal and vertical, but they come with their own problems. If a woman goes with horizontal stripes she could end up looking wider than a wall. If she goes with vertical stripes for the slimming effects then she could end up appearing as tall as a giraffe. And the thing is, she will never know if they are effecting her like that until the day after when she sees the photos.

There are no such problems when you wear polka dots. And chances are, no one else will be wearing them as well. The only thing that could qualify as an issue is if any of the polka dots are placed right where her nipples are. That isn’t the worst thing that can come to be though. Everybody is already going to be checking to see if they can locate her nipples in the dress. The polka dots will only save them some time and they can then move on to paying attention to their conversations. That sounds like a positive outcome to me.
