Crazy Robbers Crash BMW Through Apple Store to Steal iPads (VIDEO)

The price of a new iPad starts at $399. On the other hand, costs for car repairs start much higher than that. Even if you managed to grab 10 iPads, I doubt that would be enough to cover repairs and bail money, because jail is where you'd probably be headed if you were caught red-handed stealing iPads and computers at an Apple store.

A couple of douchebags apparently didn't do the math, because they ended up crashing their BMW through the store window of an Apple store in a convoluted robbery. The security camera footage from the incident is now online, and you can watch it in the player above.

Basically the BMW just crashes through the storefront. The driver backs out of the store while his accomplice hops out of the car and attempts to grab as many iGoodies as he can. And while the store's security gratings didn't deter the burglars, it did manage to yank the license plates of the car off, which police swiftly traced back to the thieves.

Why they thought they could get away with the whole thing is beyond me.
