Concept Sneakers With Built-In Tents: Crazy or Cool?

Never be without a roof over your head when you're wearing the Walking Shelter on your soles. These are concept sneakers by a designer collective called Sibling that has components of a tent built into each pair, so if you find yourself suddenly needing a tent (because, yeah, sh't happens and you might find yourself suddenly homeless with nowhere to go), then this is the footwear for you.

They look like pretty ordinary sneakers from the front and highly-stylized from the sides. They're a bit bulky but hey, what did you expect from sneaks with a tent crammed into the back?

Aside from the novelty factor, these sneakers have pretty practical uses. Just think of how homeless people or catastrophe victims can benefit from them.

No space for me in the evacuation center? No problem. Just fold out the tent components, zip together, and stay cozy on the inside.

I definitely think this is a great idea. Somebody out there should go and start making this because I'd definitely buy a pair. What do you guys think?
