Coming Soon: ‘The Starving Games’ Spoof Featuring Fatniss Evereat

Writers Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, who brought you a buttload of spoofs including Scary Movie, Date Movie, and Vampires Suck, have just announced their newest project that's sprinkled with just as much foolishness as their other films: a spoof on The Hunger Games that's going to be called The Starving Games.

The choice for the title is a no-brainer. If you've been on Youtube recently, then you've probably already seen the list of a hundred or so The Hunger Games parodies of the same title, made by fans and critics of the movie.

Friedberg and Seltzer have revealed that they will be incorporating other big screen hits into The Starving Games like The Avengers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part II, and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

The parody will be produced by Peter Safran. No production dates have been set yet, although it's set to film in the near future.
