Not-So-Happy Endings

If you happen to belong to the so-called cult that's been following Happy Endings for the last three television seasons, I've got some bad news for you. Actually, I've got bad news, then worse news, and then maybe, possibly, some good news. But maybe not.

First the bad: as you may already be aware, ABC decided to cancel the plucky cult sitcom last month. However, not long after that Sony TV started negations to get the show picked up by the USA network, and for a while it was looking pretty good.

Oh, sure, Communism got a bad rap, and the communal piss-pot, well, that was an ill-conceived notion from the get-go. And don't even get me started on probation related community service along the roadside. The point is, while many communal dreams end up being painful realities, not so with our weekly Reader Finds, where the entirety of the skintastic Zion we call Egotastic! comes together to share bits and pieces of celebrity hotness. Since 1927, there's been nothing finer on the Internet.

She'll always be The Girl Next Door to me (and, oh, if only she were the girl next door instead of Rita the Mole, the woman who steals my newspapers and then lies about it, I know what you're up to, Rita). Elisha Cuthbert should hold a near and dear place in your heart, whether from TGND or 24, this blonde hottie has the special power of making men weak in the knees, even in super innocent pictorials like this spread for Flare magazine. Whoa, Nelly. As in Egotastic! reader 'Nelly G.' who found these Sports Illustrated outtakes of the amazingly sexy and boobtastic Izabel Goulart in something you might call a bikini or swimsuit or just almost see-through perfection. Muchos muchos gracias to Egotastic! superfan 'Juni R.' for reacquainting us with Argentinean naughty reality TV star Cinthia Fernandez (a.k.a. Abby Diaz) who apparently hates clothing and loves to be exposed. Who's going to argue with that philosophy?

These candid Elisha Cuthbert bikini pictures remind us that the only reason to ever hit the pause button during 24 is to freeze-frame on hot Kim Bauer. Okay, so maybe she's not the same slender-bodied girl she was in The Girl Next Door, but, if you like real women, real women in small bikinis, then you can be in my club: the 'I will gladly stare at Elisha Cuthbert in a bikini all day long' club. Glamour magazine did a photoshoot with a bunch of young stars posing as American Icons, and for the most part, it's pretty good, but probably the standout pictures are of Lindsay Lohan as Madonna. Really, only because they are the only ones with any cleavage, and also, they have Lindsay posing in Madonna's 1984 outfit, when she was actually sexy. They also used a really soft lens, and the pictures are small, so you can't tell that Lindsay is really an anorexic coke whore. So, win win.
