Summer is officially here. No, not according to the dates on my nineteen different sizzling hot and politically incorrect wall calendars, but according to the slew of bikini photos the self-publishing set of celebrities are kicking out now. It's tremendous and we couldn't be happier for them, their egos, and our eyeballs.

I've really falling hard for Ashley Benson this past year, helped by her dumping of Justin Bieber's swagger coach, and culminating with her epic bikini and covered nekkid work in Spring Breakers. She really is an underrated hottie. Well no longer.

Featured in this month's Nylon magazine, Ashley Benson shows that she's ready to step up to the next level of celebrity sextastic, with just a simple shoot, her hot looks, a pair of sunglasses. What else today but Spring Breakers? And while we have personally confirmed that in the U.S. edition of the film at least only Rachel Korine among the cast members bares any visible toplessness, the film is jam-packed with Floridian T&A and according to Mr. Skin, and us, well worth the price of admission (regardless of critical review).

Such is the power of Spring Breakers that it nearly eclipses this week's other monumental skin-on-screen news of fanboy faptastic Shiri Appleby stripping off her clothes, getting jiggy with it, and making change with a money shot in Girls. Throw in Selma Blair nekkid making some sexy in In Their Skin. This is one must-see Mr. Skin Minute.

The time has come. The show of shows. The night of nights. Spring Breakers finally premieres, in Los Angeles at least, with the official premiere last night in Hollywood, bringing out all of the movie's starlets, along with some celeb friends. And while the four co-stars of Spring Breakers have spent many months now hitting the red carpet for this movie, battling each other for hottest girl of show, we really must give the trophy to Vanessa Hudgens, who earns the gold medal for her premiere line hotness. Not that our belusted Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, or Rachel Korine have disappointed. Not in the least, but Vanessa just went the extra mile. Or, the extra workout maybe, as we spotted her ripping her minxy little form to Pilates the day of the big premiere.

The big celebrity and media confab in Austin, Texas, this week served as host to the last premiere of Spring Breakers, at least before we all here get to see it on Friday, and despite Vanessa Hudgens missing from the quartet, Selena Gomez, Rachel Korine, and Ashley Benson held down the hottie fort rather well, with an easy cleavage win for Selena in our estimation.

While we were invited to an early screening of the film, we are holding off until it's open to the general public on Friday; because, after all, we are nothing if not the general public. And we'd like to objectively evaluate this baby we've been waiting nine months to be born. Though, that doesn't mean we won't be lurking in the very back row of the theater, just in case the film lives up to its teasy promise. Enjoy.

I'm sorry if you disagree, well, I mean, not as sorry as I was when my old man found me stealing two dollars out of his wallet and then told me he was going to make me feel sorry, but somewhere between that and how I feel when I see the Yankees lose kind of sorry, but I think Vanessa Hudgens stole the second evening premiere of Spring Breakers in Madrid, by simply looking effin' amazing.

Not that Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine didn't also do their parts, and close seconds for sure, but I have to award this round of the SB Premieres Sextastic competition to Vanessa, for looking like a foxy minx who could easily empty my bank account, leave me standing in the rain, and then have me begging for more, merely with a wink and a shake of her tush. Yeah, it's that good. Enjoy.
