Celebrate Thanksgiving the ‘Battlefield 4’ Way

To wit: with some delicious, nutritious, turkey-flavored extra XP. To put it a non-demented way, with some good ol' fashioned double XP matches, from November 28 until December 5.

Battlefield 4, as we know, has had a rather wobbly launch. This is nothing new for aficionados of the franchise, but it's a problem being swiftly addressed. After all, DICE bigwig Karl Magnus Troedsson told Destructoid"...we are so serious that we have the entire team working to stabilize the game and we will not move on to other projects until we are sure that Battlefield 4 meets -- and exceeds -- your expectations. It is the right thing to do." So, technical issues apparently being kicked in the ass as we speak.

In the spirit of free stuff as penitence for recent suckitude (see also: Grand Theft Auto Online's stimulus package), then, join Battlefield 4 this Thanksgiving. After all, that's what this holiday is all about: togetherness, peace, counting our blessings, and shooting our enemies in the 'nads as they bellow profanity at us down the mic.
