WARNING: Tila has a mouth like a drunken sailor on shore leave. Don't watch this recap if you're easily offended by words whose utterance had many of us routinely in the elementary school principal's office.

We were so proud of our-own-uneducated-selves for figuring out how to make a 4G cell phone run our livestream from the 2011 MTV Movie Awards this past Sunday that we forgot that we had a backup camera rolling to capture the event, and our toasted hostess with the mostess, Tila Tequila, covering the red carpet live.

Here's a three minute recap of the afternoon we had out there at Universal, and, despite the fact that all the big celebrities came racing by at 30-knots surrounded by a posse of uptight publicists, we still had a blast. For those who missed the live feed, take a gander. Enjoy.

Egotastic! Site Upgrades, Episode 1: The Return of the Thumbs (And Celebrity Names List)

We launched a round of site upgrades last night in the midst of the other hullabaloo, thanks for all of your input and patience (and please, pray, continue as we move forward with future rounds of upgrades):

Thumbnails are back on the story pages. If you prefer, you can now see all the thumbnails in the picture gallery at once and click individually rather than flipping through the gallery.

On the 'All-Star' (starred pictures post) clicking the thumbs will now take you directly to 'full-size' pictures to skip a step in the current process. If you go directly to the All-Stars section on the nav bar, you will be taken to a blog roll of just the 'All-Stars' posts with thumbs below each post, mimicking the old site's navigation.

On the SFW posts, you can now click the camera-icon on the homepage to be taken directly into the gallery rather than the story page, skipping another click.

The Celebrities alphabetical list is now up. Click the 'Celebrities' tab on the nav bar and you will see the brand spanking new, easily letter sorted list of all celebrities on the site. You can also choose to sort by 'Most Popular' which is dynamic and will update as time passes based on who is searched the most.

You will notice a Star-less homepage. We've been urged by the people who pay to keep our lights on to keep the homepage as fresh and clean as a baby's bottom (which, having babysat before, makes little sense to me), so you will no longer see starred nekkidness on the homepage. However, all our naughty goodness remains, and then some, just section into the 'All-Stars' posts.

We also finally got Kit-Kats in the candy vending machine in the lobby, which is kind of huge for us here.

Keep your suggestions coming, bearing in mind our budget for these upgrades is somewhere between a Microsoft new Windows launch and the slow-kid Lenny on your block who got new aluminum foil for his alien-communications hat. Thanks.

REMINDER: To See Full Size Images, Click ‘Full Size’ or ‘View Original’

Our source photos are as big and as high resolution as ever.

On a photo frame, click 'Full Size' on the lower left to take you to the fullest size photo the frame will allow, or, click 'View Original' to take you to a separate page that has just the photo itself in its fullest size straight from our media library.

Most of our hi-res paparazzi photos run max web size at 1200 x 1800. Other photos, scans, and still-frames vary depending on native sizes and resolutions. But they are the same large original size as they've always been, just as sharp as possible. Thanks.

Egotastic! Live Feeds the Royal Wedding In Case You Just Have to Watch

There are millions of people out there, mostly men, but certainly many women, who have mates, spouses, partners, friends, roommates, or family members that are going to make them watch Bill and Kate Plus 8 Thousand VIP Guests on TV this morning. So, why not watch the feed live here on Egotastic!, you know, while you surf around to visuals far more pleasant than elderly royals from around the continent sitting uncomfortably in starched suits hoping that the spanking hookers they had sent to their hotel rooms the night before don't go to the tabloids. Ah, I love a good wedding. Enjoy.

Keep the Site Suggestions Coming…

It's been a wild first week on the new platform and we appreciate all the constructive comments we've been receiving from our readers. Keep 'em coming, as they all get forwarded to our nerdtastic team of mouth breathers still working their pale little asses off. I mean, I don't forward the ones where you talk about killing people's first born son's and such, I know it's the season, but sending tech geeks threats based upon the product of fornication is simply far too fantastical for them to comprehend.

Remember, we are a work in progress here on the site and will be continuing to tune and modify as the weeks go by to improve site performance and usability. Our top priority was moving off the about-to-crash old site and performing just about the biggest blog migration in the history of blog migrations, with more than 8,000 posts and 80,000 media pieces. With the new platform flexibility, we'll be able to upgrade the site relatively easier now and start adding in some of the features you've already been requesting. Plus, we'll be able to bring you expanded forms of content and media elements we simply could not before (I'm not even sure what that means, but rest assured, it means more boobs). And, to boot, we'll be optimizing for mobile, for you bastards locked in your bathroom with nothing but your cell phones and water running to cover your tracks.
