Your identity is one of the most valuable things you have. Hackers and cybercriminals all over the world are just dying to steal that from you--and they're trying as hard as they can to trick you into handing it over to them.

Now the average individual most likely owns a cellphone. And not just an analog phone, but a smartphone. Aside from that, they'll most probably have a tablet or laptop as well. While it's true that these devices make communicating with people in your circle easier, they also make you easier targets for scams, hacks, and identity theft.

So what's a guy with a social life to do? Download apps that'll help you keep your privacy, that's what!

Two new apps have recently hit the App Store that promise to do just that: Burner and Gliph, which will provide you with disposal phone numbers and email addresses, respectively. All you have to do is fire them up and start communicating with people while keeping your contact information private.

Aside from private communications, you can also keep your device safe and hidden from public WiFi networks by getting Cloak. When you're safely hidden from the prying public networks, you can then tap onto the Onion Browser to start browsing the World Wide Web anonymously.
