Heineken wants more people to drink their brand of booze, and they're going the social route to achieve that goal. Frankly, I think that's a roundabout way of getting things done, since dudes and dudettes all over will be rushing to grab a bottle if the booze is good.

But anyway.

They've unveiled what they call the "world's first interactive bottle" and it will literally light up your night. The bottles come with a green plastic base that's equipped with a wireless sensor and a bunch of LED lights. The bottle will glow when you're holding it and it'll flash in sync with the beat of the music when the DJ turns the audio up.

Heineken will be rolling these bottles out in a few month's time. But I say they should just stick to making better beer; we don't need new gimmicks, we just want better booze!
