Beware The Gathering Of The Juggalos

There is an insidious subculture that is single-handedly destroying our country. I am talking, of course, of the Juggalos. These thugs in makeup that follow the teachings of crappy crappy Detroit butt rap group the Insane Clown Posse. This week the Juggalo "family" is having their annual Gathering. It's several days of sex, drugs, and s#!tty music. All of the "musicians" from ICP's Psychopathic Records. will be performing along scantily clad girls who have definitely taken a wrong turn in life. I remember when I first became aware of ICP when I was in my teens. They did a stint as professional wrestlers, which I watched with the loyalty that some lonely housewives reserve for their soap operas. I admit that I didn't get the loyalty they inspire then or today. Is it that I am not a lower middle class White dude living in the suburbs? I simply don't understand the angst that leads to people putting on clown makeup and listen to such horrible music.

And it is bad. I know that music, like all art, is subjective. But I can say with 100% certainty that the music of ICP is horrible and the message of misogyny and violence is even worse. If my kid ever showed Juggalo tendencies I would lock them in their closet until they got the hell over it.
