Behold: Vaginal Knitting (NSFW)

What is vaginal knitting? Is it a technique in which pubes are made into scarves? Is it knitting a fake vagina out of yarn? No. According to "Craftivist" Casey Jenkins it's when you shove wool up your hoo-haa and then knit stuff out of it. Why, yes it is a performance art piece. She explains,

"I'm spending 28 days knitting from wool that I've inserted in my vagina. Everyday I take a new skein of wool that's been wound so that it will unravel from the center and I stick it up inside me... and then I pull out the thread and knit."

One might ask...why? What is she commenting on? I don't know. The performance is called "Casting off my womb" so...um...maybe it has to do with women taking back the power of their vaginas or that they create stuff with their wombs? Or she is just a freakshow that gets off on sticking bits of yarn in her vag? I don't know. I. Just. Don't. Know.
