Batfleck Returns?

So, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice sucks but it is making truckloads of money. It's making the kind of money that you can fill up a giant vault with it and swim around like Scrooge McDuck. Well, not you but Zack Snyder for one. There is no stopping that at LEAST two Justice League movies are in the works. Ben Affleck will be reprising his role as Batman in both films says William Morris CEO Patrick Whitesell. But he also revealed that Ben Affleck has been working on his own Batman script that he might want to direct. Whitesell said,

“There’s a script that he’s written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that’s out there as an option.”

Ben Affleck, of course, won an Oscar for writing Good Will Hunting and is a well respected director for making Argo and The Town. At first, my reaction was, "That's going to suuuuckkkk." But maybe I'm wrong. Affleck is a better director than Zack Snyder. Yeah, I said it. He's also a better writer. But can he both direct and star in a superhero movie? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
