I don’t think celebrities and wealthy individuals care about much when it comes to who they date. My theory is that dating preferences are for poor people. Otherwise how would English entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper from Stone, UK end up with Eve, a stripper who Cinderella’d into a rapper. She wasn’t even relevant when they were dating. He runs international race events like the Gumball 3000 while Eve is just lucky to have any of her songs still streamed on Spotify. Love is blind I guess. It must also be deaf and dumb too because a Texas billionaire’s son, Phillip Sarofim is dating escaped Canuck on American soil Avril Lavigne. Honestly if you dive into the lyrics of Avril’s Sk8er Boi you can tell she has always glorified men with huge checks coming in while she painted herself as this down to earth sideline observer that was nothing like those other skanks in high school.
The 33-year-old singer is dating Phillip Sarofim, the son of Texas billionaire Fayez Sarofim, according to E! News. The report comes after Lavigne and Phillip were spotted out and about together in Los Angeles.
The “Complicated” singer and the billionaire heir have been dating for about two or three months, following her split from music producer J.R. Rotem. They reportedly met through friends at a dinner party.
In a way it makes sense for failed celebrities to take a stab at hypergamy. I’m guessing maybe that’s what Lindsay Lohan was trying to do. Get lucky and marry a sheik or at least an above average muslim with some oil money. Avril should probably pray the road of this relationship leads to marriage because I can bet her next Tinder match won’t be anywhere near as wealthy as the man she’s with now. And it’s not like she has high aspirations when it comes to love either because she married Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, a man who still to this day evades responsibility for aurally assaulting an entire generation.
