According to Galore Magazine, Avril Lavigne is still considered the Pop Punk Princess, which makes sense since none of us can remember anyone coming along and stealing the title from her. But we also all know that Avril probably doesn't really exist and is played by a clone named Melissa, it sounds crazy but we're not letting go of this one.

Avril met up with Ashley Uzer from Galore to talk about all sorts of things including the fact that many of us still believe she is a clone named Melissa, shocking for them to bring this up but let's see what was said. When asked about what she thinks about potentially being a clone, Avril neither confirmed or denied that she's a clone saying;

"But on the other hand, doesn’t everyone constantly say that I literally look the same as I always have?.. When people bring it up, and it’s been brought up to me for like, years, that there’s this conspiracy theory that I’m not me or something? I’m a clone? How did something like that get so—I don’t know, it’s just the weirdest rumor. I mean, do you think it’s true?"

Considering Avril's defence is that she still looks like herself, as if her CLONE wouldn't look just like her, we're taking this one as a confirmation that Avril really is Melissa.. read the full interview for yourself over here and scroll down for some of the shots taken by photographer Jacob DeKat!
