SPOILERS AHOY!! You know what I’m saying, If you haven’t watched The Sopranos, The West Wing, Seinfeld, The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones or 24, firstly hang your head in shame, but secondly look away … now.
So, Lori and T-Dog are no more in The Walking Dead. Lori’s demise was emotional, taut and drenched in tension whilst Theodores seemed like more of a side note. But we’re used to this by now. Every drama looks to spook and shock us by killing off characters at the drop of a hat. But which TV deaths have stayed with us long after the credits have rolled?
John C. Reilly’s loveable villain in Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph helped the animated epic storm to the top of the U.S box office last week, as it generated $49.1 million in it’s opening weekend. Sure, Skyfall came and knocked the socks off the Pixar film, but it held it’s own with the number two spot in its second week.
Ralph has been loved by critics across the world and increases the feeling that Pixar’s dominance of the medium is now over! Check out the figures below the drop. Plus enjoy some classic clips from these CGI wonders.
Brad Pitt’s post-apocalyptic zombie horror World War Z has had its fair share of problems. Originally written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, several other scriptwriters have come in to change his words and narrative since 2009 but now we finally have a trailer!
And it appears to be, well … OK. There seems to be a lot of focus on Pitt’s relationship with his wife played by Mireille Enos, and his love and devotion to his two kids, when all we really want to see is zombies gnawing on torsos. But hopefully that will come later.
But with our interest in members of the walking dead once again piqued, here are 5 great deaths from zombie movies to sink your teeth into.
It turns out that beneath all of the high-flying antics, ridiculously tight trunks and make-up all wrestlers really want to do is act. Not pummel their opponent repeatedly with a steel chair or feel their sweat press against their skin in a homo-erotic dance to the death!
No, inside they’re all Laurence Olivier. So now it’s the turn of Dave Bautista, know to WWE aficionados as Batista, to get before the camera in RZA’s The Man with the Iron Fists. But Dave isn’t the first wrestler to dabble in acting, here are 5 other wrestlers who attempted to infiltrate show business.
Skyfall is upon us! Daniel Craig’s James Bond is now a firm favorite amongst the 007 army and whilst he may have replaced his martini with a Heineken we can still find room to love him.
But with the English gent now taking up almost every screen in our multiplexes, what other movies are there left for us to get excited over in 2012? Don’t know? Don’t fret! Check out this list of upcoming spectacles that will soon be in cinemas across the US, around 20% of which might end up being pretty good.
Last week, George Lucas sold Lucasfilm to Disney for $4.05 billion stating “It’s now time for me to pass Star Wars on to a new generation of film-makers.” Some might say he should have done so years ago.
It’s safe to say that Georgie boy has done pretty well for himself, and if you need a bit of money right now it might be a good idea to go to his front door and ask Lucas for it before he generously donates it all to education, as he’s stated. I’m not saying you’ll get anything, but you’d hope he’d give you a quarter or two.
So with Lucas now rich beyond his wildest dreams, which other filmmakers can rival his bank balance? Check out these geeky millionaires.
Arnie and Bruce are putting our Grandparents to shame! Well, unless yours are doing battle with terrorists and bad guys almost single handedly in a comically engaging fashion, which if that’s the case then they can give themselves a well deserved pat on the back.
So with American’s favorite Austrian now confirmed to star in Conan The Barbarian’s reboot as well as appearing in The Last Stand and Bruce set to pop in a new Die Hard feature, isn’t it about time that they just sat back and had a nice rest? Here are 5 other action stars who would disagree …
