Based on the extremely popular James Cameron film "Aliens," Aliens: Colonial Marines is looking to update all of that excitement from the 1980s and put control of it in your hands. The original "Aliens" movie itself has had more influence on video games than any other flick with the possible exceptions of Predator or one of your modern "fast running" zombie movies. Concepts like a relentless onslaught of vicious fearless enemies, semi-effective automatic weapons fire, autoturrets; targeted limb damage and space marines in general were all popularized by "Aliens" back in the day.
