Alex Rodriguez Breaks His Hand – A Profile in Pain

Here you go, A-Rod haters, yuk it up. Alex Rodriguez had his hand broken by a pitch last night as the Yankees were playing the Mariners in Seattle. I doubt any tears were shed for Alex at Safeco Field. But this series of photos might bring some tears from laughing.

I'm sure getting your hand broken by a baseball freaking hurts, no matter how many hundreds of millions of dollars you're worth. Still, it's the pictures that kind of make it okay to laugh. Big props to Otto Greule Jr. for snapping this series of incredible pics, especially that main one there. Talk about being on top of things. 

Look, I really don't have anything against Rodriguez, and I always figured he was going to be the all-time HR king, but this obviously doesn't help. He's stuck at 644 while he's going to be out 6-8 weeks for this thing to heal. But I get that people might not like A-Rod, whether it's for pictures of him kissing himself in the mirror, being hand-fed popcorn by Cameron Diaz at the Super Bowl, or saying that him taking steroids was 'amateur hour.' Hate the guy all you want, I'm not saying you shouldn't.
