One of the most popular genres of television of the last 20 years or so is undoubtedly the food show. For reasons that are a bit absurd if you think about it, these shows are unendingly watched. I say absurd because food is a sensory experience. If you are watching on TV, you can see the food but you can neither smell, nor crucially, taste the food. It then amounts to little less than food porn. In the same way that you watch pornography to turn yourself on while not actually taking part in the sexual activity portrayed on screen, likewise you are just watching people enjoying food. What's the point? It's like cockteasing your tongue.

In the piece, he takes food and incorporates the BDSM ideas portrayed in the mommy porn book series "50 Shades of Grey". Namely, he puts food in a bunch of bondage gear. The result is...interesting.
