A 'Grand Theft Auto V' Plane Vs 100+ Civilians, Who Ya Got? (VIDEO)

It’s funny to think that Grand Theft Auto V is over two years old now. That’s not nearly enough to get nostalgic about, natch, but the game’s sure come a damn long way since release. I feel a little like a proud Pa looking back at my little urchin’s first saxophone recital. Or, y’know, something.

Like a lot of you Ego-gamers, I was there right from the start. I survived the great Grand Theft Auto Online Release Disaster of ’13 (man, that was a buggy shitstorm). Today, things are totally different, the game’s up to its scrote in spangly new content from regular free updates, and it’s still going strong in the popularity stakes.

Why? Most likely because it’s still the biggest name in big ol’ free roaming sandbox world games. We’ve seen The Witcher 3 and all sorts of others try to muscle into that territory, but the original crime ‘em up isn’t going anywhere. It’s the game that keeps on giving, and it’s still a part of pop culture. When something like Samsung’s exploding Galaxy Note 7 hits the news, snarky GTA modders will add it to the game as a new skin for the sticky bomb.

Grand Theft Auto Online is still a thing because it continues to ask the big questions. Questions like, how many pedestrians does a plane have to hit on the runway to stop it? Will a hundred of the poor bastards do?

Above, YouTuber RZED proves that hell yeah it will. Damn. 100+ civilians 1, plane 0.
