This Turkish dude has been the talk of the scientific community after a paper about his unusual blood-drinking condition was published in a journal recently. Obviously they won't reveal his name, but what we do have is his age (he's 23) and information about his creepy condition some doctors are calling 'clinical vampirism.' For simplicity's sake, let's call him Vamp for short.
Vamp developed an unusual thirst--or rather, craving--for blood early on, drinking his own because it seemed like the only option he had at that time. Vamp would cut his arms, chest, and abdomen and collect his own blood in a cup to drink later on. He eventually began to develop a thirst for blood that was no longer his...and that's when he went on his rampage in the streets, where he'd bite into people's wounds to taste and smell blood. He was also arrested several times for stabbing people so he can collect their blood and gulp it down.
Vamp basically sounded like a character from vampire movies, and when he submitted himself to treatment, made statements like "This mess can end by my death only" and stuff like that, because yeah, he'd rather die than go on not being able to drink blood as much as he wanted to.
Doctors eventually found a way to cure the Vamp from his blood-drinking tendies (or rather, they vanquished the evil spirits telling him to drink to his heart's content) and all is well again in the world. Until the next one comes along...
