How Did This Get Made: InAPPropriate Comedy (VIDEO)

How??

People’s tastes differ vastly. Like, for example, I think Weekend at Bernie’s 2 is a piece of cinematic majesty. Most people think it’s a steaming pile of garbage. But that’s the great thing about opinions: Everyone has one but I only think mine counts. So let’s just agree that sometimes you see a trailer or commercial for a new movie and have to stop in your tracks, turn to the escort date next to you and say, ‘How the hell did that get made??’ With all the great stories out there waiting to be told, why are some movies, that are obviously so God awul ever greenlit and put out into the world?

But they’re an important part of our culture. For you can’t celebrate genius without knowing what the opposite is. Sort of like the whole reason why Lucifer is in the Bible, ya know? Balance. Ying and Yang. Cheech & Chong. And so today we begin a new installment called How Did This Get Made and the first picture on the chopping block is a little film starring Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody, Deuce Bigalow:European Gigolo-star Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez, and everyone’s favorite Leatherface actress Lindsay Lohan in what must’ve been a role she accepted because the director had photos of her burying a body out in the woods somewhere.

I guess it’s technically a sketch film, in the vain of Movie 43, which currently holds a 5% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and somehow still looks like Ben Hur compared to this thing. Adrien Brody plays a film noir detective who makes a lot of sexual innuendos and Lindsay Lohan dresses up like Marilyn Monroe (again) and fires at a bunch of a paparazzi photographers. Hilarious. Also there’s a Driving Instructor who doesn’t understand Asians for some reason and a character so racist towards African-Americans that the PA on set that day must’ve been rethinking his life.

The official synopsis reads:

In the laugh-out-loud sketch comedy film InAPPropriate Comedy, a computer tablet full of the world’s most hilariously offensive apps breaks through the borders of political correctness, stirring up cultural anarchy; with a star-studded cast including Adrien Brody, Rob Schneider, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan and Ari Shaffir as “The Amazing Racist”, this edgy, no-holds-barred comedy makes sure no taboo is left untouched!

I don’t think they’re legally allowed to say ‘laugh-out-loud sketch comedy film’ because I’m pretty sure no one did any such thing. The official Youtube page also says ‘In theaters March 22nd’ but something tells me you probably shouldn’t count on that.
