In Case You Missed it – Jadeveon Clowney Destroyed a Michigan Running Back
During the Outback Bowl yesterday, South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney delivered the hit of the year. Sure that's easy to say because it happened on January 1st, but check back here in 12 months and I bet this will still be the best hit of 2013. Michigan's Vincent Smith probably still has a headache, and really he's lucky to still have a head.
Clowney goes unblocked through the line and just as Smith is handed the ball, Clowney absolutely demolishes him, sending Smith's helmet flying and knocking the ball loose. Clowney picks up the ball while still on top of Smith, who seems to be reaching for it, but there's no way he was coherent. That was probably just a reaction.
