When was the last really well-made, feel-good baseball movie? I mean, it's been well over a decade since Major League: Back to the Minors, right? So isn't it about time we get another into our American culture that reminds us what a noble sport baseball used to be before steroids, $19 hot dogs and Jose Canseco? That's what 42 is looking to be it seems, telling the story of Jackie Robinson (played by Chadwick Boseman) and his relationship with Dodgers' President and GM Branch Rickey (played by Harrison Ford), who signed Robinson for Brooklyn, effectively breaking baseball's color barrier.

Also starring Christopher Meloni, Lucas Black and John C. McGinley, 42 opens April 12.
