2013 Video Games that Should Allow Parents to Put Out Hits on Their Game Playing Kids
If you haven't seen this splendid Kotaku story about the guy who hired online thugs to beat his son in online video games, you're missing out. Say what you want, but I believe this should become a thing that people do in all video games across the board. The option to hire good players to thrash annoying players (payback time, racist pigs!) you meet online is the final piece of the puzzle we've been missing as online games turn into the Wild West. Bounty hunters, bitches.
That got me to thinking how games, whether we're talking sports titles, online shooters or RPGS, should better accommodate this function. I'm not sure if the dad in the story above paid real money to real life dudes directly and then sent them to their computers to do the job, but a streamlined, perhaps Paypal-driven solution along with a video game that supports all of this should be just around the corner. In the meantime check out this gallery of games that should accommodate this whole hired-gun-in-video-game thing.
