Defriendtion Lets You Give Detention to Annoying Friends on Facebook (VIDEO)

People can be so annoying sometimes. Not just in real life, but also in the virtual world as well. And unfortunately for most of us, Facebook provides the ideal platform for all those pesky little quirks to make its way online. As if we weren't annoyed enough already.

Case in point: friends who can't stop posting pictures of their kids and calling them 'cute' when they really don't look that cute at all (this is my annoyance talking. I just don't think you should call your own kid 'cute.' That just seems wrong and presumptuous.)

Here's another one: friends who post pictures of themselves in swimsuits or revealing outfits with the caption 'I'm so fat.' Puh-leeze, we all know you're just asking for a compliment. We don't mind the sexy photos, but just cut the crap with the captions.

And yet another one: friends who post passive-aggressive status updates that in turn, makes paranoid friends lash out with their own passive-aggressive status responses. If something's bugging you, don't hide behind a virtual wall of words. Confront them!

For all these little annoyances and more, there's Defriendtion. It's basically a free app for Facebook that lets you send silly (but partly serious) notices to friends about how they're annoying the crap out of you with what they're posting on the social networking site.

Of course, you might end up pissing off the people who pissed you off in the first place--but that's a risk that you have to take if you want to go this route.
